Wilhelmina Charette, age 82, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND.

Wilhelmina P. Charette was born on December 1, 1940, in Belcourt, ND to John and Delia (Houle) Warren. She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well. Wilhelmina was blessed with eight children, Darrel, Casey, Pete, Francis, Renee, Robby, Curtis, and Kris. She worked at Turtle Mountain Community School as a teacher aide for 35 years and retired in 2005. After retiring, she worked at the Sky Dancer Casino as a receptionist. Wilhelmina enjoyed playing cards, going to bush dances, listening to fiddle music, and jigging. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Wilhelmina was a kind-hearted soul. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Wilhelmina is survived by her children, Darrel (Joyce) Charette, Casey (John) Short, Pete Charette, Francis "Crow" Charette, Renee Charette, Robby Charette, Curtis Charette Sr., all of Belcourt and Kris Stevenson of Fargo; 27 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Wilhelmina was preceded in death by her parents, John and Delia (Houle) Warren, bothers, Bill Warren, Cubby Warren, and John "Jams" Morin, grandsons, Dustin Stevenson and Travis Charette, great grandchild, Leighanna Morken, and Godchild, Chad Warren.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass. Burial will be at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery Belcourt, ND in the spring.
