Wendy LaVallie, age 57, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Quentin Burdick Memorial Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Wendy Marie LaVallie was born on August 1, 1967 in Belcourt, ND to Alfred and Mildred (Azure) Allery.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well.  Wendy furthered her education at Turtle Mountain Community College obtaining an Early Childhood degree.  She was united in marriage to Ronald LaVallie on November 17, 2006 in Belcourt.  She was the proud mother of four children, Ryan, Waylon, John "JJ", and Lacey, and step-children, Edward, Ronald III, and Natasha.  Wendy was a child care provider, owning and operating Toddler Town in Belcourt.  She enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards, and going to the casino. Wendy loved time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and siblings, visiting and having coffee.  She had a wonderful sense of humor that she shared with everyone.  Wendy will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Ronald LaVallie of Belcourt; children, Ryan Lenoir, Waylon Lenoir, John "JJ" (Jaycee Smith)  Lenoir, and Lacey (Mason Baker) LaVallie; step-children, Edward (Sara) LaVallie, Ronald (Jaylee) LaVallie III, both of Belcourt, and Natasha (Matt) Adams of Washington; 21 grandchildren; siblings, Gary Allery of Belcourt, Betsy LaVallie, Doreen Barr, both of Wichita Falls, TX, Deborah Charette of Dunseith, Kathy Ortega of Browns Valley, MN, Lori Amyotte of Wichita Falls, TX, Carolee Mickelson of Dunseith, and Marlys Parisien of Belcourt; and many nieces and nephews.

Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mildred Allery, sisters, Gail Frazier, Rhonda Baker, and Emily Allery, and brother, Glenn Allery.

Casket Bearers are Brent Allery, Josh Allery, Tristan Brown, Tommy Ortega, Carl LaVallie, Carl Baker, Greg Charette Jr. and Rene DeMontigny.  Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Turtle Mountain Worship Center, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM prior to the funeral service.  Burial will follow funeral services at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.  Bryant LaVallie officiating. A meal will follow burial services at Fiddler's Hall, Belcourt, ND.
