Wade Anthony Renault, 61, of Dunseith, ND, passed away on May 29, 2025, at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

Wade was born on July 20, 1963, in Oakland, CA, to Stephen and Alice (Parisien) Renault. He was raised in Dunseith and graduated from Dunseith High School. He attended TMCC and went on to serve in the United States Army, specializing in artillery atomic weapons. Following his honorable discharge, Wade worked as a skilled carpenter for many years.

He was a talented carver, known for crafting diamond willow canes and pipestone pieces. Wade loved long motorcycle rides and cherished time spent with family and friends. He was especially proud of his son, Keith. In 2018, he married Menissa Blacksmith.

Wade is survived by his wife, Menissa of Bismarck; son, Keith of Riverton, WY; father, Stephen of Dunseith; brothers, Terry of Dunseith and Alan (Teresa) of Petersburg, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice; brothers, Stephan, Curtis, and Carey; and grandparents, Telesphore and Emma Renault and Fred and Rose Parisien.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Dunseith. Visitation begins at 8:00 AM, with Rosary at 9:00 AM.
