Virginia LaFountain, age 74, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the Belcourt Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Virginia Stella LaFountain was born on September 19, 1946 in Belcourt, ND to Joseph and Mary (Champagne) LaFountain.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well. Virginia enjoyed going to the casino, word finds, bingo, and watching westerns on television.  She was a very good-hearted person and loved to spend time with her family members and her friends. Virginia will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Virginia is survived by her siblings, Benedict LaFountain, Florene LaFountain, Dorothy Davis, Sharon LaFountain, and Ramona LaFountain; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary LaFountain, brothers, George, Johnny, James, Gerald and Alfred LaFountain, and sisters, Theresa, Laura, Rita and Marlene.

Honorary Urn Bearers are all family and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 20, 2021 at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 10:00 AM prior to the Funeral Mass.  Father Richard Fineo presiding.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
