Vincent Grant Jr., age 50, of Belcourt, ND, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Sanford Hospital, Bismarck, ND.

Vincent J. Grant Jr. was born on December 16, 1970 in Belcourt, ND to Vincent J. Grant Sr. and Amelda (Bedard) Grant.  He was raised in the Minot area and finished high school in Belcourt, ND.  Vincent furthered his education by receiving a Master's Degree in Business Management from the University of Mary.  He was the father of three sons, Chad, Austin, and Vincent III, as well as step-father to Lorenzo, Laramie, Tasha, and Loren.  He was proud of his family and loved spending time with his children, grand-children and long-term companion, Virginia.  Vincent worked as a Bio-med Technician at the Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility in Belcourt for 20 years and then at Fort Yates Indian Health Service for over three years.  Vincent enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycle.  He was an avid sports fan, always rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, and was known for playing basketball, softball, and golf as well.  Vincent also liked playing pool.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Vincent Jr. is survived by his companion, Virginia Blue of Belcourt; sons, Chad Grant, Austin Grant, and Vincent Grant III, all of Belcourt; step-children, Lorenzo Lunday of Fargo, Laramie Lunday of Tacoma, WA, Tasha Lunday of Grand Forks, and Loren Lunday of Belcourt; 14 grandchildren, NaCumbea, Chad Jr., Chadynce, NaTawnii, Austin Jr., Abel, Azec, Adriana, Laiden, Eleese, Lexavier, Liam, Ezyliah, and Reigneona;  mother, Amelda Grant of Belcourt; father, Vincent Grant Sr. of Belcourt; siblings, Thomas (Julie) Grant of Denver, CO, Suzanne (Daniel) Grant-Gooden of Grand Forks, and Darwyn (Melissa) Myers of Foxholm; and nieces and nephews.

Vincent Jr. was preceded in death by his grandparents, Julius and Elizabeth Grant, Stella Seifert, and Robert Bedard, and nephew, Thomas Grant Jr.

Casket Bearers are Thomas Grant Sr., Chad Grant, Austin Grant, Darwyn Myers, Dylan Grant, Lorenzo Lunday, Laramie Lunday, and Loren Lunday.  Honorary Bearers are Vincent Grant III and all family members and friends.  Rosary led by Seymour and Brenda Page.  Music by Leonard Keplin and Craig Lunday.  Readings by Summer Bernard and Sharyn Blue.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 23, 2021 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 10:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND.  Father Tony Hession, SOLT presiding.  A meal will follow burial services at the Eagle Heart Cultural Center in Dunseith, ND.
