Vera Vondal, age 63, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at her home.

Vera Lynn (Onstad) Vondal was born on September 26, 1957 in Wolfpoint, MT to Evrin and Joan (Desjarlais) Onstad.  She was raised in Wolfpoint, MT and completed her education there as well.  Vera was united in marriage to Richard Vondal on April 16, 2016 at the Turtle Mountain Worship Center in Belcourt.  She was the proud mother of six children, Shawn, Vaughn, Josh, Ronnie, Brandon, and Laraya.  Vera worked as a volunteer and in home care services for the Lutheran church.  She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping, and taking care of the elderly in the area.  Vera loved time spent with Joe and her children and she was very involved in their lives.  Vera will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Vera is survived by her husband, Richard Vondal of Belcourt; children, Shawn Onstad of Wolfpoint, MT, Vaughn Lodge of Minneapolis, MN, Josh (Kim) Wettlin of San Antonio, TX, Ronnie Meyer of Fargo, Brandon (Tonya) Vondal of Belcourt, and Laraya LaVallie of Belcourt; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings, Amber Desjarlais and Billy Onstad.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kim Desjarlais.

Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

A Memorial Service is planned at the Turtle Mountain Worship Center, Belcourt, ND at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
