Tyson Davis, age 44, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Tyson Joseph Davis was born on June 22, 1976 in Rolette, ND to Marty Davis.  He was raised and educated in Belcourt graduating in 1994 from Turtle Mountain Community High School.  He furthered his education at Turtle Mountain Community College in Belcourt obtaining an Associate Degree as a Computer Support Specialist and also a heavy equipment operator certificate.  Tyson was united in marriage to Andrea Salmeron in November 1, 2014 in Belcourt.  Together they raised four children, Kennedy, Adrien, Tyrel, and Tianna.  Tyson worked various construction jobs throughout his life.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, spending time at the lake, playing darts, pool, and pinochle.  Tyson as a master griller, always grilling or smoking food anytime of the year.  He also enjoyed watching his all-time favorite football team, the Minnesota Vikings.   He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Tyson is survived by his wife, Andrea Davis of Belcourt; children, Kennedy, Adrien, Tyrel and Tianna, all of Belcourt; three grandchildren, Karlee, Kaylee, and Greyson, all of Belcourt; mother, Marty Davis of Belcourt; grandmother, Theresa (Richard) Davis-Rivard of Belcourt; siblings, Kylee (Marshall Allery) Davis of Belcourt, Moria (James Thomas) Parisien, all of Belcourt and Joshua Monette of Devils Lake; nieces, Shariah (Terry Desjarlais) Davis of Belcourt and Meah Desjarlais of Belcourt; nephew, Trevyn Parsien; great nieces, Ayvah and Adelee Azure of Belcourt; great nephew/Godchild, Matthew Azure of Belcourt; Godchild, Jaylen Schlenvogt of Belcourt; aunt, Laurie Davis of Newtown; uncle, Jered Davis of Belcourt; and cousin, Lane (Leona Journey) BirdBear of Albuquerque, NM.

Tyson was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph E. Davis, uncles, Joey Davis and Steven Davis, and aunt, Gerianne Davis-BirdBear.

Casket Bearers are Linus Wallette Jr., Joe LaFountain, Travis Gladue, Lucas Marcellais, Donavan DeCoteau, Lane BirdBear, Randal Jerome, and Ryan Delorme.  Honorary Bearers are his basketball family, Justin DeCoteau, Travis Azure, Jason DeCoteau, Eugene Monette, Richard LaFountain, Kurt Peltier, Jamie Keplin, Dave DeCoteau Jr., Lloyd Davis, Eric Morin, Jered Davis, and Derrick Grant.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Fiddler's Hall, Belcourt, ND.  Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Fiddler's Hall, Belcourt, ND.  A burial will take place at the family burial site at Theresa Davis residence.  A meal will follow burial at Fiddler's Hall, Belcourt, ND.
