Terry R. Allery (Standing Eagle) was born July 1st, 1959, to Sylvester and Dorothy (Dauphinais) Allery in San Jose, California. He was the second oldest of four siblings. Terry began his journey to the Spirit World on June 20, 2026, at the Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility in Belcourt ND.

Terry's family moved back to Belcourt in mid-1960's where him and his brothers helped his dad build the house he grew up in and was still living in up until his passing. Terry attended Dunseith Public School in 1st grade, from there he attended Houle School until 6th grade. He then attended Belcourt middle school in his 7th and 8th grade years. He graduated from Belcourt Highschool in 1977, After high school Terry attended the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton ND, for welding. Upon receiving his certificate, he moved back to Belcourt and started working at the Turtle Mountain Manufacturing Plant. In 1980 Terry accepted a job at the Turtle Mountain Community Highschool as a Teachers Aid. In the late 90's Terry Transitioned into Lead Security Guard at the Highschool.

In 1980, Terry met the love of his life Holly Allick. When Terry met Holly, he gained his only son Mike. 5 years later they welcomed the first of their two daughters Teri Ann (his junior), another 5 years later then came his baby girl Marica.

Terry was an incredibly hard worker his whole life.  He took pride in fixing up his home and cars. There wasn't a day when he didn't have at least two different projects going on, let's be real a lot more than two. He would be working on cars and his house at the same time jumping from project to project.  He had many passions and hobbies. He was a very avid outdoors guys, he loved riding machines. In the winter he would ride snowmachine and, in the summer, he loved taking his wife Holly cruising side by side, whether it be just the two of them or riding with his side-by-side family.  He enjoyed visiting and socializing with just about anyone he had so many friends and he loved to tease; he loved playing pool and was pretty darn good at it too. He played for Ladot's in the Belcourt pool league with his brother Gene, friends Chick and Fred, and sometimes his daughter Teri Ann would sub for them. He was proud to carry on the legacy of his late sister's team "Lisa and Lu's Crew". This summer Terry played in a summer league at Betty's Bar with his Daughters Teri Ann and Reese, son-law Mitch and brother Gene, he was teaching Mitch and Reese the ropes as it was their first year. His greatest passion though was spending time with his wife, children, and especially his grandchildren.

Terry always treated everyone with respect.  During his time working at the high school he gained so many lifelong friends from his co-workers to the students. He took great pride in keeping the high school in line and safe for everyone there. Terry was most known at the school for his dress style. The long black socks with his carpenter shorts. The high school was his second home and everyone there throughout the years became family.

Terry is survived by his Wife Holly Allery, Son Mike (Chelsi) Allick, Daughter's Teri Ann (Ann) Vallie, and Marica (Mitch) Davis all of Belcourt ND. Brothers Jesse (Theresa) Allery of Devils Lake ND, Gene (Cheryl) Parisien, Wayne (Jeanie) Parisien, Linus (Rochanda) Parisien of Belcourt ND, and sister Lori (Tyler) Grant of Fargo, ND. His Sister In-law's Brenda (Ike) Trottier, Renee (Jeff) Desjarlais of Belcourt ND, Barb Anderson of Grand Forks ND; brother in-laws Bert "Bud" (Lynne "Saucie") Allick, Jimmy (Sherry Jo) Allick of Belcourt and Dr. Albert Allick of Fargo ND.  His grandchildren, Seth, Emmitt, Eliza, Weston, Trent, Trasyn, Ava, Tylee, Baby Mitch, Louie, Madden, Royce and his great grandson JohnJoshua. Along with all of his bonus children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, many family members and friends.

Preceded to the Spirit World by his parents Sylvester and Dorothy Allery; His father and mother in-law Morris and Dorothy Allick (Bunagee), brothers Todd Allery, Elmer Parisien, Tyler Grant Frank Bercier and Ike Trottier, sisters Luella and Lisa Allick, and Jeanie Parisien. His Great Granddaughter Emberly Munchkin Peach, his niece Lacey Delorme, his nephew Trenton Sams Grant. Along with many other relatives and close friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at Noon on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Turtle Mountain Community High School football field, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM and Rosary Service at 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.  A meal will follow funeral services at the high school.  Burial will take place at a later date at St. Benedict's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
