Susan LaFrombois, age 64, of Belcourt, passed away peacefully, on December 15, 2022 in Moorhead, MN.

Susan Marie LaFrombois was born on February 5, 1958 in Belcourt, ND to Benedict and Theresa (DuBois) LeDoux. She was born into a large family, eight brothers and six younger sisters and raised in Belcourt, ND.  She completed her education at Turtle Mountain Community School and Wenatchee Public School in Washington. She then met Dallas DuBois and together they had two boys, Keith and Ben. Dallas preceded her in death in 1980.  Susan then reconnected with Larry LaFrombois and together they had Ashley, and Aaron.   Later she met Terry Dumont and they share a daughter, Megan.  Susan continued her education at Turtle Mountain Community College and graduated with a medical record keeping degree.  She supported her family by working at Uniband and also at the Sky Dancer Casino as a Slot Tech Supervisor, where she loved joking around with her coworkers. Susan loved playing bingo, going the casino, playing on her tablet, and could often find her with a sudoku book in her hand. She enjoyed the outdoors, attending Pow-wows, and going camping. She loved playing with her grandkids and spending time with her family. Susan was blessed with 19 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was the also the Godmother to Valent, Daryl, Lucus, and Jayzen. Susan will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Susan is survived by her children, Keith LeDoux of Jamestown, ND, Ben LeDoux of Fargo, ND, Ashley LaFromboise of Moorhead, MN, Aaron LeDoux of Belcourt, ND, and Megan LeDoux of Belcourt; siblings Larry (Charmaine) LeDoux of Minneapolis, MN, Judy LeDoux of Minneapolis, MN, Wanda Houle-Falcon of Bismarck, ND, Barbara (Steven) Hayes of New York, NY, Francis LeDoux of Devils Lake, ND, Darryl (Jackie) LeDoux of Belcourt, ND, Kelly Poitra, Rhonda Poitra, Bryan Poitra, and Lori Poitra; nineteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Benedict and Theresa (DuBois) LeDoux, brothers, Steven Dubois, Benedict LeDoux Jr., Daniel LeDoux, Joseph LeDoux, sister, Barbara Poitra, step-father, Joseph Poitra, and brothers-in-law, Billy, Dave, and Merlin.

Pall Bearers Keith LeDoux, Ben Ledoux, Raymond Houle, Aaron LeDoux, Robert LeDoux, Lucus St. Claire, Kaden LaFromboise, Aries LeDoux, and Emmanuel Herrera. Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, December 22, 20222 at Fiddlers Hall, Belcourt, ND. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 23, 2022 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation One Hour prior to services in the church. Burial will take place in St. Anns Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND in the spring.
