Sharon Bercier, age 60, of St. John, ND passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Sharon Marie Bercier was born on March 3, 1962 in Belcourt, ND to Alex and Stella (Demery) Belgarde.  She was raised in Dunseith and completed her education there as well.  Sharon was united in marriage to Paul "Johnny Cake" Bercier Jr. on September 7, 1984 in Rugby, ND.  She was the proud mother of a son, Paul "Johnny Coke" Bercier III.  Sharon was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, step-mother, sister, and aunt to many. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, going to local lakes, and snowmobiling to name a few things.  Sharon was very good at canning vegetables and meats with her husband.  She liked driving around, admiring the beauty around her, and collecting and caring for her Knick Knack's, of which she had a beautiful collection.  Sharon will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Sharon is survived by her step-children, Debra Peltier, Sharon Lara, and Marsha Counts; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; siblings, Melinda Belgarde, Gerald Belgarde, and Donna Belgarde-Gunville whom she considered a sister; many Godchildren including, Gilbert Handeland, Briella Beston, Brian Bradford, Kayce Beston, and Michael Handeland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Stella Belgarde, husband, Paul "Johnny Cake" Bercier Jr., son, Paul "Johnny Coke" Bercier III, siblings, Gilbert Belgarde, Shirley Belgarde, Margaret Chase, James Belgarde, Paulette Vivier, Linda Amyotte, Gary Belgarde, and Eli Belgarde, and father and mother-in-law, Paul and Mabel Bercier.

Casket Bearers are Shawn Morin Sr., James "Bubba" Gunville, Shawn Morin Jr., John Bercier, Donavan DeCoteau, and Jeffery Handeland.  Honorary Bearers are all nieces and nephews.  Readers are Miranda Morin and Gail Bercier.  Eucharistic Gifts by Alexandria and Margrita Morin.

A visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.  Funeral Mass will be Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND.  Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
