Sandy LaFromboise, age 56, of Bemidji, MN, formerly of Belcourt, ND passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at her home.

Sandy Marie LaFromboise was born on January 29, 1965 in Belcourt, ND to Steven Sr. and Leona (McCloud) Allard.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well, graduating in 1983.  She furthered her education at Minot State University, NDSCS in Wahpeton, and Walden University.  Sandy was united in marriage to Robert LaFromboise Sr. and was the proud mother of four children, Robert Jr., Austin, Brittany, and Lacey.  Sandy was a registered nurse and then became an FNP, working in the Belcourt area and then moving to work for Cass Lake IHS.  She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother, being outdoors gardening, and music, especially Elvis and Keith Urban.  She also liked to work on diamond painting and taking care of her plants.  Sandy will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Sandy is survived by her children, Austin Allard, Brittany (Joshua) Williams, and Lacey (Winston Vogel) LaFromboise; grandchildren, Mollee, Analicia, Sean, and Kurt; siblings, Steve Allard Jr., Lee John Allard, Leon Allard, Hank Allard, Bruce (Charlene) Allard, Glen (Carol) Allard, Marlene (Galen) Gasnik, and Margie (Rich) Allard; Godchildren, nieces, and nephews; and the many, many bonus children throughout the years.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Leona Allard, husband, Robert LaFromboise Sr., son, Robert "Bobby" LaFromboise Jr., and sister, Jeanette Belgarde.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM prior to services in the church.  Burial will be in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND in the spring of 2022.
