Ryan Vettleson, age 36, of Rolla, ND passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the IHS Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Ryan Alexander Vettleson was born on March 4, 1984 in Rolla, ND to Alexander F. Poitra and Tilly Rose Vettleson.  He was raised in Belcourt, Minot, and Grand Forks.  Ryan worked in construction and was the proud father of six children, Jazzlynn, Roselynn, Damian, Alex, Ryanna, and Emily.  He loved his family dearly and had a heart of gold.  He enjoyed the outdoors fishing, playing darts, and watching football, especially the Raiders.  Family was very important to Ryan as he was always there to support them, loving his time spent with them all.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Ryan is survived by his children, Jazzlynn Vettleson, Roselynn Vettleson, Damian LeDoux, Alex Vettleson, Ryanna Vettleson, and Emily Vettleson; and siblings, Justin (Crystal) Vettleson, Anthony Vettleson, Alisha Poitra, Bobbie Jo Poitra, and Allen Poitra.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alexander F. Poitra, mother, Tilly Rose Vettleson, mother, Wanda Poitra, brother, Fabian Poitra, and cousins whom he was very close to, Dillon Azure, Daniel Azure, and Nick Poitra.

Casket Bearers are Linus Wallette, Joe Peltier, Roy Poitra, Devin Parisien, Jon Lattergrass, Eugene "Bugs" Poitra, Rick Hamley, and Dane Poitra.  Music by Eagle Nation Drum Group.

A Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Log Cabin in Dunseith, ND.  Funeral Services will be Friday, March 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Log Cabin in Dunseith, ND.  Father David Brokke, SOLT presiding.  Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
