Rosemary Azure, age 63, of Dunseith, ND, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Quentin Burdick Memorial Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Rosemary Azure was born on November 22, 1960 to Raymond and Marie (Morin) Azure in Belcourt, ND.  She was raised in Dunseith and completed her education there as well.  Rosemary furthered her education at Minot State College, obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Social Work.  She was united in marriage to Melvin Henry and was the proud mother of four children, Candace, Sarah, Christina, and Lacey.  Rosemary was a wonderful homemaker and mother.  She loved spending her time with her family members, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was often working on her house or reading in her spare time.  Rosemary will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Rosemary is survived by her daughters, Candace Bercier of St. John, Sarah (Jimmy) Azure of Dunseith, Christina (Alan) Azure of St. John, and Lacey (Mark Laducer) Henry of Belcourt; 14 grandchildren, Melvin "Paco," Conner, Megan, Cinnamon, Aria, Alayna, Amaya, Alyza, Andrea, Aubriella, Alan, Henry, Dekotah, and Acaysha; two great grandchildren, Kennedy and Maverick; mother, Marie LaFontaine of Dunseith; siblings, Arlene (Les) Allery of Bismarck,  Raymond "Lee" Azure of Dunseith,  Connie (Dan) Eman of Dunseith, and Randy (Rhonda) Azure of Dunseith; and nieces and nephews.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Azure, husband, Melvin Henry, sister, Michelle Azure, and stepfather, Roy LaFountain.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Dunseith, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Dunseith, ND, at a later date.  Father Samuel Medley, SOLT presiding.
