Rose Belgarde, age 53, of Dunseith, ND passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Rose Mary Belgarde was born on December 5, 1967 in Belcourt, ND to Evelyn Ann (Schroeder) LaFromboise.  She was raised by her mother and father, Clarence Charles LaFromboise.  She grew up in Dunseith and completed her education there as well.  Rose was united in marriage to Bruce Bercier of St. John.  They had four children, Jessica, Mary, Carla, and Billy.  Their marriage later ended in divorce.

Rose was a wonderful homemaker and mother.  She enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo.  Rose also loved time spent outdoors, fishing and being with her horses.  Rose was a somple, free-spirited person.  She would welcome anyone into her home that needed a place to stay.  Rose was united in marriage to Gerald Belgarde on January 31, 2014 in Bottineau, ND.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Rose is survived by her husband, Gerald Belgarde of Dunseith; children, Jessica Bercier of Fargo, Mary (David) Belgarde of Dunseith, Carla Bercier of Fargo, and Billy Bercier of Minnewaukan; fifteen grandchildren, Izabell Perez, Anastasia Perez, Evelyn Perez, Preston Perez Jr., Maximulius Perez, Havannah Bercier, Meko Lilley, Jayden Belgarde, Keagan Belgarde, Cloie Bercier, Alex Bercier, Alaina Bercier, Sonia Houle, Fulton Bercier, and Nowella Bercier; step-father, Clarence Charles LaFromboise of Rolla; siblings, Jolene (David) Belgarde of Dunseith, Charles LaFromboise Jr. of Dunseith, and Sherry LaFromboise of Belcourt; and many nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn LaFromboise, an infant brother, sisters-in-law, Linda Amyotte, Shirley M. Belgarde, Paulette Vivier, and Margaret Chase, and brothers-in-law, James "Smiley" Belgarde and Donny Belgarde, as well as her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Casket Bearers are Billy Bercier, Jessica Bercier, Mary Belgarde, Carla Bercier, Josh Handeland, Quinten LaFromboise, Charles LaFromboise, Clifford LaVallie, and Shawn Morin Jr.   Reader is Susan Morin.  Eulogy by Karen Schroeder.

The family would like to thank all of you for the love and support you have bestowed upon them during this time of loss and sadness.  Thank you also to those who donated and helped with funeral services.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary and Eulogy Services at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Father Michael Slovak presiding.  Burial will take place in St. Benedict's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND in the spring.
