Rosalie O'Brien, age 75, of Minot, ND formerly of St. John, ND passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at her home.

Rosalie Rae O'Brien was born on May 28, 1947 in St. John, ND to Louis and Ada (Jay) Bercier.  She was raised in St. John and completed her education there as well.  Rosalie was united in marriage to Leslie O'Brien Sr. on February 20, 1968 in St. John.  Together they had five children, Ellen, Scott, Robin, Leslie Jr., and Bradley. Rosalie was a cook at the Rolette Public School and St. John Public School systems.  She moved to Cando for a short time, in Kansas for nearly 10 years before moving back to St. John for many years and the last two years in Minot, ND. Rosalie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed going to the casino, playing pinochle, watching crime shows and the Kansas Jay Hawks as well as Nascar, cheering on the Earnhardts and her favorite Dale Sr.  Rosalie will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Rosalie is survived by her children, Ellen (Keith) Rossmiller of Wildrose, ND, Scott (Deb) O'Brien of Hazen, ND, and Robin (Tracey) Day of Surrey, ND; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; siblings, Linus Bercier and Margaret Grant; best friend, Betty Erickson; and nieces and nephews.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Leslie Jr. and Bradley, and a grandson, Dylan O'Brien.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, ND with a Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Father Richard Fineo presiding.
