Robert Keplin, age 56, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Robert James Keplin was born on December 22, 1969 in Belcourt, ND to Lillian Ann (Delorme) Keplin. He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well. Robert was a gifted repair man of bicycles, of all kinds. He enjoyed his work and had a love of collecting jewelry. Robert will be missed by his family and lovingly remembered.

Robert is survived by his father, Sylvester Keplin of Belcourt; sister, Raylene (Jeff) Smith of Belcourt; brother, Joe Keplin of Belcourt; nephews, Anthony and Justin Thomas.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Ann Keplin, niece, Emma Thomas, grandparents, Norbert and Evelyn Delorme, Dominic and Mildred Nadeau, and Sylvester and Mathilda Keplin, and great grandma, Rosalie Delia “Cocum” LaFloe.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 21, 2026 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
