Robert Henrikson, age 90, of Perth, ND passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Rolette Community Care Center, Rolette, ND.

Robert Laverne Henrikson was born on February 27, 1933 to Alex and Ruby (Johanson) Henrikson. He was raised on the farm near Perth, ND. After completing his high school education, he went to college to get his auto mechanics degree. After his first year in college, he was drafted to the Army where he served proudly for 18 months. After his honorable discharge he returned back to the farm. Robert enjoyed farming, planting potatoes, taking care of his cattle, watching his chickens, and once in a while letting them in the house. He was also an avid collector of toys, license plates, calendars, and newspapers. Robert will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Robert is survived by his sister, Stella Himle; nieces, Jerie (Curtis Havig) Gable of Perth, Jenie (Casey) Sveningson of Devils Lake; nephews, Jamie (Linda) Henrikson of Bisbee, Jodi (Becky) Henrikson of Great Bend, Kansas, and Jesse (Lauren) Henrikson of Cary, North Carolina; great nieces and nephews, Brian Hurt, Jamie Hurt Jr., Jasamin Henrikson, Justin Henrikson, Thomas Henrikson, Ella Henrikson, Otto Henrikson, Oliver Sveningson, Henry Sveningson, Devon Gable, Morghann Gable, and Stirling Gable.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Ruby (Johanson) Henrikson, brother, Harvey Henrikson, and great niece, Richanda Hurt.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Rolla, ND with a visitation beginning at 8:00 AM prior to the funeral service.  Burial will be in Perth Cemetery, Perth, ND in the spring.  Pastor Nicholas Rhode presiding.
