Rita LaFloe, age 77, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Rolette Community Care Center, Rolette, ND.

Rita Lorraine LaFloe was born on January 14, 1942 to Charles and Cecelia (McCloud) Vivier. She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well. She was united in marriage to Charles LaFloe Sr. on August 16, 1962 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Belcourt. Together they had seven children, Lavonne, Brock Charles, Yvette, Charles Jr., LaMoine, Robert, and Nicole.

Rita is survived by her sister, Mary Louise Slater of Belcourt; children, Lavonne (Dave Morin), Yvette (Edward) Falcon, LaMoine (Cindy) LaFloe, and Nicole "Nikki" LaFloe, all of Belcourt; grandchildren, Erica (Waylon) Peach, Carl Baker Jr., Macey Baker, Darrick "Big Jim" Falcon, Taylor Dayne Falcon, Edward Falcon Jr., Jordyn LaFloe, McKenzie LaFloe, and Joshua LaFloe; and great grandchildren, Keagan and Justine Page, Emmitt and Elayah Peach, Bryder and Bryelle Baker, Tavia Jo Baker, Titan, Braylee, and Brylee Falcon, Cash Hanlan, and Jady and Maverick LaFloe.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Charles LaFloe Sr., parents, Charles and Cecelia Vivier, sons, Brock Charles, Charles Jr., and Robert LaFloe, and siblings, Francis Vivier, Leo Vivier, Pat Vivier, Fred Vivier, Leona Slater, and Lucille Cain.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 9:30 AM prior to the funeral mass. Father Dennis Mary Dugan, SOLT presiding. Burial will follow services.
