Riel Xander Allery, age 22, of Rolla, ND passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 17, 2025.

Riel Xander Allery was born on August 4, 2003, in Belcourt, ND to Lonnie Allery and Rhea (St. Claire) DeCoteau.  He was raised in Rolla, ND and completed his GED in only 6 weeks in 2019 from TMCC. Riel was a true gamer- he started playing games when he was just 2 years old and his passion and skill only grew stronger through the years. His favorite games were Call of Duty, Mortal Kombat, Battlefield, Street Fighter, and Dragon Ball Z …… and of course Super Mario. He was an avid Marvel fan and knew pretty much anything you asked him. Riel loved watching movies and videos- he found much joy in watching Tik Toks and was a true movie critic.  His favorite movies were Avengers, Deadpool, Spiderman, Saw and War movies. His favorite TV shows were Beavis and Butthead, Rick & Morty, SpongeBob, and Dragon Ball Z. Riel was also a music lover and liked all kinds of music but especially Juice World, Travis Scott, and Metallica. Riel liked to fish, talk about politics, voice his opinion, go to the newest Marvel movies with his grandma Tina, and hang out with his friends and family. Riel was always helping and following around his papa Ron with everything when he was younger. Riel was dearly loved by his family and friends. He will be missed beyond words and remembered forever.

Riel is survived by his father, Lonnie (Raeann Vivier) Allery of Belcourt; mother, Rhea (Fred) DeCoteau of Rolla; grandparents, Tina St. Claire, Jeff (Colette August) Thomas of Muckleshoot, Patty and Ronnie Allery and JoAnn Vivier; siblings, Lorayah Allery, Aubree Allery, Freddy DeCoteau, Derrell Azure, Kirsten Azure, and Kari Guderjahn all of Rolla; Auntie Adrienne St. Claire of Rolla; Uncle's Ronnie Kraig Allery of Belcourt and Jesse St. Claire of Bisbee; niece, Dahlia Parisien; nephews, Keanu, Kyson, and Tobias Azure; cousins, Maria and Amelia Laducer, Ella St. Claire, and Jax Champagne of Rolla; many great aunts and uncles; his beautiful soulmate Alex and his beloved and faithful companion, his dog "Scrappy."

Riel was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Minerva Roy, James St. Claire, Bill and Rose Brien, Emil and Eva Allery, Great Aunt, Dolly (Ole) Lee, Great Uncles; Barry, Tim, and Larado St. Claire; brother, Baby Kyrie DeCoteau, many great aunts and uncles, and cousin, Thayne Marcellais.

Casket Bearers are Chris St. Claire, Rick LaFloe, Derrell Azure, DJ Parisien, Jesse St. Claire, Holden Peach, EJ Bradford, and Ronnie Kraig Allery. Honorary Bearers are all family and friends. Rosary led by Patty Allery and Melissa Vallie. Readers are Tina St. Claire, Adrienne St. Claire, and Patty Allery. Eucharistic gifts by Ron Allery and Alex Belgarde.  Eulogy by Lonnie and Lorayah Allery.

A Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at St Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 24, 2025 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND.  Burial will follow funeral services in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND. A meal will be held at KC Hall, Belcourt, ND.
