Richard Morin Jr., age 25, of Dunseith, ND passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022 in Belcourt, ND.

Richard Jason Morin Jr. was born on December 18, 1996 in Belcourt, ND to Richard Sr. and Georgia (Champagne) Morin.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well.  Richard Jr. loved time spend with his family members and friends, especially his friend, Memphis Belgarde.  He was a mechanic and liked working on cars.  Richard Jr. also liked going to the casino on occasion.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Richard Jr. is survived by his parents, Richard Sr. and Georgia Morin of Dunseith; brothers, Coy (Erin) Garrison of Belcourt, Rylee Morin, and Ross Morin, both of Dunseith, ND; niece Lyne Garrison; nephews, Kip and Sonny Garrison; grandparents, Sharon Allery and Alfred Champagne, both of Dunseith; special friend, Memphis Belgarde of Grand Forks; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Richard Jr. was preceded in death by his grandparents, John "Jams" and Linda Morin, siblings, Baillie and Gabrielle Morin, cousin, Jeff Morin Jr., and uncle, Joseph Champagne.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will be in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND following the funeral mass.  Father Richard Fineo presiding.
