Richard Baker, age 67, of Dunseith, ND passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, November 17, 2025 at Dunseith Community Nursing Home, Dunseith, ND.

Richard Lee "Ricky" Baker was born on June 2, 1958 in Belcourt, ND to George and Mary (Marcellais) Baker.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well, graduating from Belcourt High School.  Ricky was united in marriage to Rhonda Allery, they later divorced.  He worked as a welder throughout his life.  Ricky enjoyed riding horse in his younger years as well as hunting and fishing. He also liked playing cards, bingo, and horse shoes with family and friends.  Ricky had a wonderful sense of humor, always enjoying the conversations with his family members and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Ricky is survived by his brother, John (Betty Hunt) Baker of Belcourt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Baker, siblings, Darlene Keplin, George Baker Jr., Angela "Rosie" Baker, Frank Baker, Robert Baker, Marilyn Danks, Theresa "ChaCha" Baker, Duane Baker, Raymond Baker, and Lou Marcil, nephew, Stewart Belgarde, and niece, Jenny Danks.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 21, 2025 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will follow funeral services at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.  A meal will be held at Fiddler's Hall, Belcourt, ND following funeral services, all are welcome to attend.
