Renee Parker, age 64, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Renee Denise Parker was born on August 6, 1959 in Petaluma, California to George and Donna (Holum) Trottier. She was raised throughout the United States as her family traveled, and completed her education from St. John High School, graduating in 1977. Renee was united in marriage to Graydon "Jody" Buxton and together they had a daughter, Jeannine. They later divorced. She then married Scott Parker and together they had two daughters, Whitney and Hope. Renee was a social worker for Rolette County Social Services in Rolla, and BIA Social Services in Belcourt for many years. She then moved to Carrington and worked at her daughter Whitney's childcare center, which she enjoyed. Renee liked crafting, baking, and playing cards games as well as cribbage. She loved time spent with her family members, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Renee spent her later years fostering children, who quickly became a part of the family. Renee will be lovingly remembered by all and greatly missed.
