Renee Marion, age 43, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND.

Renee Marie Marion was born on February 6, 1979, in Belcourt, ND to Rene Marion and Rita LaFountain. She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well. She worked as a grocery clerk at Jollies for many years. Later she became a homemaker. Renee was a kindhearted soul and she greeted everyone with a smile.   She also loved taking care of her nieces and nephews, she loved them like her own.  When Kateri was born she helped care for her and played with her like a doll.  When Blaze was born, she cared for him for the first 2 years of his life, he was her baby she always wanted.  She loved all her nieces and nephews, Stan, Tyson, Kateri, Cierra, Todd, Kimber, Gavin, Michael, Gloria, Peter, Frank, Rene, Brian, Jasmine, Beau, Blaze, Georgia, Roseanne.  Renee had a love for animals she had her little dog that she loved so dearly.  She also enjoyed going to the casino. Most of all, Renee enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She had many friends no matter where she went people know her and loved her, she had a way of making people feel special.

Renee is survived by her siblings: Rene (Carla) Marion of Grand Forks, Joseph Marion of Santa Fe, NM, Brian (Vivian) Marion of Belcourt, Rhonda (Fred) Marion-Schindler of Las Vegas, NV, John (Lisa) Marion of Belcourt, Blaine Todd Marion of Belcourt; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; many cousins some of whom were more like sisters to her, Dorothy, Candace, Mona. Godparents, Clarke Marion and Dorothy (LaFountain) Davis.  She is survived by many aunts and uncles: Phyllis and Dave, Sharon, Clarke and Shirley, Frank and Lavina, Ramona, Sharon, Florene

Renee is preceded in death by her parents, Rene Marion and Rita LaFountain, grandparents, Joe and Mary LaFountain, and Herman and Georgianna Marion, many aunts and uncles, many cousins.

Renee was many years younger than her siblings; she was our baby sister and we treasured her; she brought so much happiness into our lives.  We will love you all our lives baby sister; you are at peace now.
