Raymond Montriel Jr., age 56, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Raymond Fred Montriel Jr. was born on August 2nd, 1968 in Belcourt, ND to Raymond Sr. and Elizabeth (Pays) Montriel.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well. Raymond enlisted in the United States Airforce in 1986 and received an honorable discharge in 1993.  He was united in marriage to Lisa Bercier on August 10, 2009 in Belcourt.  He was the proud father of a daughter, Kara and a son, Andrew.  Raymond worked in computer operations for MDU Utilities, in IT for the Turtle Mountain Tribe, and most recently in the sports book department at the Skydancer Casino. Raymond enjoyed playing bingo and being outdoors fishing.  He was an avid Vikings and Yankee's fan and had a wonderful sense of humor, often joking with family and friends. Raymond will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Raymond is survived by his son, Andrew (Allyssa) Montriel of Fair Oaks, CA; grandchildren, Mikah Montriel, Madalynn Pederson, and Brielle Montriel; sisters, Amy (Hal) Norton of Ipswich, NH, Diane White of Jamestown, and Deb Schnackenberg of Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lisa Montriel, daughter, Kara Lea Montriel, brother, James White, and sisters, Donna (Randy) DeCoteau and Raelena Belgarde.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, March 13, 2025 at LaDot's, Belcourt, ND.  All are welcome to attend in Raymond's honor.
