Obituary

Ramona Langan, age 66, of St. John, ND passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at her home. Ramona Agnes Langan (Dibikan Giizhig Ikwe - Night Sky Woman) was born on December 4, 1958 in Belcourt, ND to Philip and Corrine (Poitra) Parisien. She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education at Belcourt High School, furthering her education at college for one year. Ramona was united in marriage to the love of her life, Bernard Langan, on August 26, 1995, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. John. She was the proud mother of five children, Robert, Robin, Ross, Andrea, and Amy. And a proud aunt to her 'bonus son,' Christopher Parisien.

Ramona worked in manufacturing at ArrowTech and Microlap Technologies in Rolla for many years. Ramona had the gifts of honesty and loyalty, and she loved deeply. She could lighten any mood with her witty comebacks and infectious laugh that could fill a room. She was known for her quirky, fun-loving personality and smiling face. She loved the outdoors, camping, spending time at the lake, gardening, and watching her hummingbirds. Ramona loved her weekly outings with her husband and family. She enjoyed the company of others and would make friends everywhere she would go. She liked watching game shows, playing candy crush, and working on puzzles on her iPad. She was very social, loving time spent with family and many friends. Ramona enjoyed shopping and going to rummage sales, canning, and cooking. She was known for her delicious home-cooked meals; most specifically known for her fry-bread. She made sure nobody left her home without a full belly and a smile on their face. She loved her family dearly, her husband, her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews, as they all meant the world to her. She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed.

Ramona is survived by her husband, Bernard Langan of St. John; children, Robert (Shania) Belgarde of Bottineau, Robin (Gilbert) Fiddler of Detroit Lakes, MN, Ross (Rachel) Belgarde of West Fargo; Andrea (Kody) Langan of St. John, and Amy (Isaac) Langan of Dunseith; 10 grandchildren, Zoie, Noah, Aden, Samuel, Adrien, Kaylon, Theodora, Aeson, Nialynn, and Amelianna; siblings, Mike (Paula) Parisien, Gordon "Guy" (Barbara) Parisien, Kathy (Scott) Bryant, Marshall Parisien, Bonita Henry, Sheila (Rod) Trottier, and Jackie (Loren) Brien; sister-in-law, Connie Parisien. Ramona treated her nieces and nephews like her own; with a special mention of her God children, Chad Bryant, Joni Henry, Jacob Parisien, and Kylie Parisien.
