Rachel Terry Rai Baker-Wallette, age 18, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at her home.

Rachel Terry Rai Baker Wallette was born on June 13, 2007 in Fargo, ND to Deacon Wallette Sr. and Raiann Baker.  She graduated from Turtle Mountain Community High School at the age of 16 and college at 17 taking an interest in becoming an EMT or CNA as she loved helping others. She enjoyed the outdoors and time with her family and friends. She loved being an aunt and going above and beyond to show them her love. Her favorite pastime was listening to country music hanging with friends and having a good time.

Rachel was an amazing girl. Loving, smart, outspoken, and beautifully kind. She will be loved and remembered by those whose lives she has touched.

Rachel is survived by her grandmother, Maryann Crissler of Belcourt; father, Deacon Wallette Sr. of Belcourt; grandmother, Brenda & Stubby Poitra of Moorhead, MN; sister, Brittany Delorme; brother, Jesse Azure; brother, Gavin Farmer; sister, Brehannah Baker; brother, Seth Baker; sister, Brandi Baker; brother, Deacon Wallette Jr.; bonus Mom, Jennie Wilkie of Belcourt; sister, Kylie Wilkie; sister, Kearah Wilkie; sister, Kuhleena Wilkie; brother, Kadyn Wilkie; brother, Keasean Wilkie; and her nieces and nephews.

Rachel was preceded in death by her mother, Raiann Baker and grandfathers, Terry Baker and Darrell DeLong.

Casket Bearers are Eric Crissler Jr., Deacon Wallette Jr., Seth Baker, Kadyn DeCoteau, Madden LaRocque, and Zayden Page. Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 15, 2026 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass. Burial will follow funeral services at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND. Father Michael Slovak SOLT presiding.
