Peter "Linus" Morin, age 72, of Belcourt, ND passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at his home.

Peter Linus Morin was born on February 20, 1952 in Belcourt, ND to Alex and Roseanne (Charette) Morin.  He was raised in Belcourt and graduated from Turtle Mountain High School.  He worked various jobs driving concert truck, selling auto parts, and Turtle Mountain Chiptronics eventually retiring as President of the company.  He loved the outdoors, golfing, and darts. He loved his dogs, cats, and birds as well.  Linus enjoyed playing dice and cards with his family members.  His heart was spending time with his grandchildren, taking them to every park in the area, as they brought him so much joy.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Linus is survived by his children, Austin Harris of Belcourt, Mandy Morin of Belcourt, Pierce Morin of Belcourt, Jordan Morin of Belcourt, Shay Harris-Poitra of Fargo, Chance Harris of Minot, and Robin (Ricky) Covert of Denver, CO; four grandchildren, Gavin, Khiaya, Chris, and Malani; siblings, Betty (Dick) Bernard of Dothan, AL and Bonnie Oliver of Dothan, AL; brother-in-law's, Louis Dauphinais of Belcourt and Clint Juaire of Wahpeton; and nieces and nephews.

Linus was preceded in death by his parents, Alec and Roseanne Morin, grandson, Thayne Marcellais, brothers, Melvin, Joe, and Don, and sisters, Geri, Ruth, and Louise.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 6, 2025 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with prayer starting at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.
