Paul Indvik, age 59, of St. John, ND passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.
Paul V. Indvik was born on October 23, 1961 in Rolla, ND to Vernon and Fay (James) Indvik. He was raised in St. John and completed his education there as well. He furthered his education at college for one year following high school. Paul was united in marriage to Debbie Peach on November 24, 1979 in St. John. Paul was the proud father of four children, Mandy, Patrick, Jorey, and Tyler. Paul was a bus driver for Belcourt School District #7 for many years, always enjoying the kids that rode on the bus. He liked the outdoors hunting, fishing, and working with his horse team. Paul was always willing to cook for family gatherings and loved playing cards, especially pinochle. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
Paul is survived by his wife, Debbie Indvik of St. John; children, Mandy (Nathan) Evers of St. John, Patrick Indvik of St. John, Jorey Indvik of St. John, and Tyler Stein of Grand Forks; five grandchildren, Shannon, Annika, and Ava Indvik and Isaac and Ezra Stein; siblings, Tessie (Max) LaFromboise, Tammy (Mark) DeCoteau, and Neil (Kathy) Indvik; sister-in-law, Sharon Gustafson and family; and many nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Fay Indvik, grandparents, Buck and Vera James and Eve and Carl Indvik, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Casket Bearers are Fred Roy, Bruce Morin, Duane Gourneau, Max LaFromboise, Jake Indvik, and Mike Roussin. Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, ND with a visitation starting at 8:00 AM and a Rosary Service/Eulogy at 9:00 AM prior to the Funeral Mass. Father Richard Fineo presiding. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, St. John, ND.
