Patrick Allery, age 49, of St. John, ND passed away on Monday, November 11, 2023 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Patrick Lee Allery, sprit name Nijii, was born on November 15, 1974 in Rolla, ND to Patrick Houle and Rebecca Hall.  He was raised in St. John and completed his education there as well.  Patrick worked as a carpenter for Jeanotte Construction.  He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working with his hands whether it was as a carpenter or working on cars.  He was a very caring person, often watching his nieces and nephews, whom loved him dearly, or taking great care of Sheila, who raised him since he was 3 months old.  Patrick lived in Rolette County most of his life.  He enjoyed fishing and especially visiting with his family, friends, and learning from his elders.  Patrick will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Patrick is survived by his children, Gabrielle Allery of Dunseith and Brandon Malaterre of St. John; siblings, Brenda (Eli) Ouellette of St. John, Billy (Deanna) Lenoir of St. John, John Lenoir of Belcourt, LeeAnn LaFromboise of St. John, and Leonard (Tammy) Allery of St. John; and many nieces and nephews.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Betty Marcellais and Angela Allery, nephews, Donald Allery and David LaRocque, and nieces, Erin LaRocque, Gracie Allery and Shayla Lenoir.

Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, ND with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM and Rosary Service at 10:30 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, St. John, ND. Father Richard Fineo presiding.
