Nathaniel Lindgren, age 21, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 in Belcourt, ND.

Nathaniel Richard Lindgren was born on April 12, 1999 in Belcourt, ND to Richard Lindgren and Anna (Myers) Houle. He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well. Nathaniel always had a smile on his face, a happy personality, and everyone, especially kids, were drawn to him. He had numerous friends across the reservation and beyond who witnessed his humble, good natured, and respectful attitude. He loved his family dearly and the time he spent with them, especially his mother, who he always told was beautiful and expressed his love whenever parting. Nathaniel made sure his family came first, loved his step-daughter, Princella and his companion, Raylene, and was always there to care for and lend a helping hand. He was unselfish and did for others whenever he could. Nathaniel enjoyed his dogs, the Vikings, cooking, which he was very good at, and riding around in his truck. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family members and many friends throughout the community.

Nathaniel is survived by his companion, Raylene Scott of Belcourt; mother, Anna (Joe) Houle of Belcourt; step-daughter, Princella Morin of Belcourt; siblings, Jon Dionne, Stacey Morin Jr., Vernon Morin, Nolan Morin, Waylon Morin, Vegas Morin, Amanda Morin, and Seth Houle, all of Belcourt; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lindgren and grandparents, Steve and Ann Myers and Donald and Florence Lindgren.
Casket Bearers are Stacey Morin Jr., Seth Houle, Cole Martell, Cody Peltier, Jamisson Henry, Daniel Morin, Wyatt LaVallie, and Lucas St. Claire. Readers are Kevin "KK" Keplin and Richelle Gillis. Eulogy by Steve Myers. Music by Jeanie Azure. Gifts by Tyra Azure and Charles Marcellais.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Monday, June 8, 2020 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the church with Fr. Jim Mulligan and Fr. Dennis Mary Dugan presiding. Burial will take place in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND at a later date.
