Nathan Yoder, age 44, of Belcourt, ND went to walk with Jesus in Eternity on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Presentation Medical Center, Rolla, ND.

Nathan Fred Yoder was born on June 29, 1977 in Killarney, Manitoba to Nile and Leona (Slaubaugh) Yoder.  He was raised in Wolford and Belcourt, North Dakota and completed his education at home under American Schools.  After his high school education, he spent a year in Stormer Lake, Ontario serving the Lord.  Nathan met the love of his life in Minnesota, Elizabeth Willems, and they were united in marriage on June 16, 2001 in Warroad, MN.  Together they had five children, Jonathan, Zechariah, Caleb, Rebekah, and Keziah.  They moved their family home to the Belcourt area in 2017.  Nathan was a truck driver for 3 ^rd Day Farms, LLC.  He embraced life of which he had a passion for, always eager to learn and do new things.  Nathan was an amazing story teller.  He was gracious, respectful, kind, and selfless, helping anyone in need whether it was family or someone he had just met.  He spent time enjoying the outdoors fishing with his children and once in awhile blowing up the beaver dams that he came across.  He was a good daddy, a best friend to many, and protective of those he Loved.  Nathan was extremely loyal and his family and friends were so very fortunate to have him by their side.  He was the best.  He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.

Nathan is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Yoder of Belcourt; children, Jonathan, Zechariah, Rebekah, and Keziah, all of Belcourt; parents, Nile and Leona Yoder of Belcourt; siblings, Christy (Troy) Achterhof and Joshua (Jewel) Yoder; and nieces and nephews.

Nathan was preceded in death by his grandparents and son, Caleb Yoder.

A visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Elick Funeral Home, Rolla, ND with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Lakeview Mennonite Church, Wolford, ND.  Burial will be at Island Lake Cemetery, Wolford, ND.
