Michael "Joker" Laducer, age 61, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Michael Lee "Joker" Laducer was born on December 14, 1959 in Belcourt, ND to Roger and Mary "Puffy" (Frederick) Laducer.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education at Belcourt Schools, graduating in 1979.  Joker furthered his education at Bismarck State College for two years in the lineman program.  He was united in marriage to Lisa Peterson in 1985 and together they raised two sons, Michael and Jorden.  Joker was lead AV Tech for Belcourt Schools for over 25 years.  He was active in his community and was a firm believer in second chances, believing all deserve respect and love through the lessons learned in life.  Joker enjoyed the outdoors, camping, working on cars, and especially riding in his tractor.  He loved time spent with his wife, his sons, godchild, Julius and Nevaeh, and all of his family members during the holidays, especially Christmas time.  He was an avid story teller and had a wonderful sense of humor, always ready to play a joke on an unsuspecting family member or friend.  Joker also had a love of music in which he played for himself and others on his fiddle and guitar or through listening to the many songs he downloaded on his devices.  He liked spending time fixing things on his home and taking his Indian Bike motorcycle out for a ride.  Joker's contagious laugh and his beautiful smile will be forever remembered.  He will be greatly missed by his family members and many friends throughout the community.

Joker is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Laducer of Belcourt; sons, Michael (Jeremy) Laducer of Belcourt and Jorden (Christopher) Laducer of Minot; mother, Mary "Puffy" Laducer of Belcourt; siblings, Roland "Porky" Laducer, Brian "Jack" (Roxanne) Laducer, Jeff (Nancy) Laducer, Terry Laducer, Travis (Leah) Laducer, Anna (Jeff) Delorme, and Sonia "Nellie" Zerr, all of Belcourt; and many nieces, nephews, godchildren, Lisa Monette and Julius Delorme, and friends.

Joker was preceded in death by his father, Roger Laducer, grandparents, Helen Parisien-Peltier, Louis "Lefty" Frederick, and Albert Laducer and Annie Gourneau-Laducer.

Casket Bearers are Sonny Laducer, Cody Laduer, Justin Lenoir, Travis Laducer Jr., Jessica Zaste, Riley Laducer, Jake DeCoteau, Jeremy Ernst, and Christopher Dix.  Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.  Rosary led by Father Michael Slovak.  Reader is Amber Rogers-Davis.  Music by Ryan Keplin.  Eulogy by Jorden and Michael Laducer.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a walk-through visitation beginning at 8:30 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.  Father Michael Slovak presiding.
