Born in Dhulia, India to missionary parents, Beth was an avid reader, bible study teacher, Rolla TOPS Founder, gardener, and RN since the age of 18. "I've always loved words, especially in books", she said, and she read all the books in the Rolla Library, more than once!

Beth received her Bachelor of Nursing from Wheaton College in Chicago and a Masters in Management in Phoenix, AZ. About 8 years ago she was diagnosed with Parkinsons, and cancer was discovered after a fall in Feb 2024. After 5 months recovering in Fargo hospice care, she moved to South Carolina with her daughters for care, where she especially enjoyed singing songs and hymns, and time with family and friends. Psalm 23 was a great comfort and strength during this time, along with "His Eye is on the Sparrow, and I know he watches me."
