Maryann Barbara Charette, age 68, of St. John, ND passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at her home.

Maryann Barbara Charette was born on September 28, 1952 in Belcourt, ND to Viner and Virginia (LaVallie) Davis.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well.  She was united in marriage to Gregory Charette Sr. on March 13, 1998 in Belcourt.  Maryann was a wonderful homemaker, wife, and mother for many years.  She was the proud mother of four children, Chris, Dawn, Joy, and Devona.  Maryann enjoyed the outdoors fishing, going to the casino, and especially spending time with her family and friends.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Maryann is survived by her children, Chris Davis of Belcourt, Dawn Grandbois of Devils Lake, Joy (Frank Jr.) Grant of Belcourt, and Devona (Kayla) Grandbois of Belcourt; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Poin Davis, Linus Davis, Terry Davis, Raymond Vondal, and Richard Vondal; sisters, Karen Davis, Barbara Davis, Lori LaVallie, and Nancy Azure; and many nieces and nephews.

Maryann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gregory "Buckels" Charette Sr., brothers, Clark and Chugger, and sister, Devona Davis.
