Mary Day, age 62, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at her home.

Mary Jane Day was born on January 6, 1959 at home near Belcourt, ND to George and Stella (LaFountain) Day.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well, graduating from Belcourt Schools.  Mary furthered her education at UND in Grand Forks for a short time.  She was a wonderful homemaker throughout the years.  Mary enjoyed cooking and quilting.  She also liked the outdoors gardening, planting flowers, and going for walks.  Mary will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her siblings, Serena Lenaz of New Jersey, Robert Day of Pisek, George Day Jr. of Minneapolis, MN, Tina Day of Belcourt, and Doris Vivier of Belcourt; and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Bernice Day, Ronald Day, and Fred Day.

Private family services are being held.
