Marvin Gustafson, age 66, of St. John, ND passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at his home.

Marvin Lee Gustafson was born on February 23, 1955 in Rolla, ND to Vernon and Betty (James) Gustafson.  He was raised in St. John and completed his education there as well, graduating from St. John High School in 1973.  He was united in marriage to Becky Johnston on June 8, 1996 and together they had a son, Clayton.  Marvin was also a step-father to Ryan, Cassie, and Jarid Charbonneau.  He was a truck/tanker driver for Harris Oil.  Marvin enjoyed the outdoors fishing and hunting, collecting guns, and raising horses.  He and Becky enjoyed going to horse sales together.  Marvin will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Becky Gustafson of St. John; son, Clayton Gustafson of St. John; step-children, Ryan (Peggy) Charbonneau of St. John, Cassie Charbonneau of Roseau, MN, and Jarid Charbonneau of Fargo; four grandchildren, Skyler, Rhyan, Tyler, and Rhylie; father, Vernon Gustafson of St. John; siblings, Peggy Gustafson, Darrel (Janine) Gustafson, Denise (Dale) Geritz, and Jane (Ross) Sivertson; and his nieces and nephews.

Marvin was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Gustafson and brother, Earl Gustafson.

Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Presbyterian Church, St. John, ND with Dave Schnackenberg officiating.  Burial will take place at a later date.
