Marvin Blue, age 62, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Marvin Richard Blue was born on December 6, 1958 in Belcourt, ND to Alfred and Alvina (DeCoteau) Blue.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education at Belcourt Schools.  Marvin was a self-employed carpenter and was very good at Native American crafts.  He was the proud father of four children, Vanessa, Jeremy, Mathew, and Joanna.  Marvin enjoyed watching sports, an avid Vikings fan, carpentry, and being at home.  He liked visiting with his family and friends and spending time with them as well.  Marvin will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Marvin is survived by his children, Vanessa Blue, Jeremy (Jennilee) Blue, and Mathew (Stacie) Blue; nine grandchildren; siblings, Genevieve, Darrell, Dennis, Marcus, Linda, and Barron; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Joanna, and 14 siblings.
