Marlys DeLong, age 57, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 at the Belcourt Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Marlys Ann DeLong was born on December 16, 1964 in Belcourt, ND to George and Louise Lucille (Brunelle) DeLong.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well.  Marlys was the proud mother of four children, Levi, Michael, Dustin, and Chelsey.  Marlys opened her heart to many others and so many called her their own mother. She worked at various places throughout the years including Harris Oil and Subway recently. Marlys will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Marlys is survived by her children, Levi (Lindsay) Vivier of Rochester, MN, Michael (Loralee) Vivier of Belcourt, and Chelsey Vondal of Minot; 15 grandchildren, Marisa, Levi Jr., Megan, Aiden, Nellie, Tony, Clint, Ethan, Briana, Aiyana, Michael, Dasan, Jayden, Jayrock, and Shayna; two great grandchildren; siblings, Robert DeLong, Freddy (Linda) DeLong, Myron (Florene) Delong, Carol Demery, Alberta (Marvin) Malaterre, and Bernard (Diane) DeLong, all of Belcourt; and many nieces and nephews.

Marlys was preceded in death by her parents, George and Louise DeLong, son, Dustin Vondal, and two grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 10 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8 AM with Rosary Service at 9 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will be in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND at a later date.
