Marla Davis, age 66, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Sunset Drive Prospera Community, Bismarck, ND.

Marla Frances Davis was born on January 7, 1956 in Belcourt, ND to Francis J. and Caroline (Azure) Davis.  She graduated high school and furthered her education at the University of Mary for two years.  Marla was the mother of two children, Ron "Bubush" and Francine "Punny."  She worked many jobs throughout the years including driving bus for Ojibwa Indian School, bartending, truck driving, bookkeeping at LaDot's, and at Jack and Jill grocery in Rolla.  Marla was a very social person, had a wonderful sense of humor, and could tell the best stories.  She enjoyed going to play bingo and loved playing cards, especially pinochle.  Marla had many family members and friends that loved her dearly and some of her best friends were her dogs, her faithful companions.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Marla is survived by her son, Ron "Bubush" (Kim) Davis of Bismarck; daughter, Francine "Punny" Davis of Belcourt; six grandchildren, Georgia, Riley, Ron, Zachary, Brooklyn, and Bentley; two great grandchildren, Charliee and Bentley; sister, Rebecca (James "Hopper") Ward of Rolla; niece, Stephanie (Jesse) Bless Hillius; nephews, Levi Davis, Jesse Davis, and Jordan Davis; and great nieces, Emily Hillius, Shai Davis, Kennedy LaVallie, Dara Davis, Hailey Davis, and Aleria Davis;  and great nephews, Levi Davis Jr. and Christopher Davis.

Marla was preceded in death by her parents, Francis J. and Caroline Davis and brother, Wade "LaBoy" Davis.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will be in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND at a later date.
