Mark Gefroh, age 57, of Rolla, ND passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at his home.

Mark Alan Gefroh was born on March 23, 1962 in Rolla, ND to John A. and Lois (Juntunen) Gefroh. He was raised in Rolla and completed his education at the Rolla High School. Mark furthered his education at Bismarck State College for autobody repair. He worked in the oil fields near Dickinson, ND in the 80's before moving to New Mexico where he taught autobody repair at the State Prison and later operating his own autobody repair and restoration shop in Las Lunas, New Mexico. Mark then moved back to Rolla where he owned and operated a repair and restoration shop for many years. He took great pride in restoring old vehicles. Mark was united in marriage to Annette Delorme and together they had five children, Kristin, Patrick, Derrick, Brooke, and Mark Jr. "Dakota", they later divorced. He met Sherri Wilkie in the spring of 2000 and they were married on August 25, 2011 in Rolla and he became a wonderful step-father to Tracy, Stephanie, Kenny, and Tyler. Mark enjoyed his time working on cars and watching westerns. He loved time spent with his family members and friends at the lake, shaking dice, and socializing at the Viking Bar in Rolla. His favorite holiday, the 4th of July, was always a great time to catch up with family and friends at the lake enjoying fireworks. Mark was also very proud of his Finnish Heritage. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by many.

Mark is survived by his wife, Sherri Wilkie-Gefroh of Rolla; mother, Lois Gefroh of Rolla; children, Kristin Gefroh of Bismarck, Patrick Gefroh of Belcourt, Derrick Gefroh of Bismarck, Brooke (Dixon Schmalz) Gefroh of Bismarck, and Mark Jr. "Dakota" Gefroh of Bismarck; step-children, Tracy (Russell) Maxon of Rolla, Stephanie (Chaz) Monette of Belcourt, Kenny Zaste of Rolla, and Tyler Zaste of Tucson, AZ; 22 grandchildren; one great grandchild; siblings, Rene Plecity of Rolla, Kurt (Debbie) Gefroh of Douglas, WY, and John (Audrey) Gefroh of Rolla; and brother-in-law, George Scherer of Wichita Falls, TX.

He was preceded in death by his father, John A. Gefroh, sister, Brenda Scherer, and grandparents, John and Amelia Gefroh and Wilfred and Betty Juntunen.

Urn Bearers are Mark Timmerman, Bennett Charbonneau, Chuck Gladue, Gene Kakela, Marshall Parisien, and Patrick Enno.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM in St. Joachim Catholic Church, Rolla, ND with a Rosary Service at 10:30 AM. Father Thai Arul presiding. Burial will take place at a later date.
