Marilyn Danks, age 63, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

Marilyn Mae Danks was born on May 23, 1959 in Belcourt, ND to George Baker Sr. and Mary (Marcellais) Baker. She was born and raised in Belcourt, ND. Marilyn received her GED and continued her education at Turtle Mountain Community College where she received her Associates in Business Administration.  Marilyn was the proud mother of three daughters Kate, Jennie, and Danielle. She was a caring mother and homemaker for most of her life taking care of her family. Marilyn loved to fish, attend family gatherings, Betty's cooking, the casino, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Kate Danks of Belcourt, Jennie Danks of Bismarck, and Danielle Danks of Bismarck; brothers, Jon Baker and Richard Baker; and her six grandchildren.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, George Baker Sr. and Mary (Marcellais) Baker, and siblings Darlene Baker, George Baker Jr., Frank Baker, Robert Baker Sr., Duane Baker Sr., Angela Baker, and Theresa "Cha Cha" Baker.

A visitation will begin at 6:30 PM on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with Rosary Services beginning at 7:00PM. Funeral Mass will be Monday, October 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND.  Burial will follow at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
