Lynda DeCoteau, age 74, of Rugby, ND, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Northern Lights Long Term Care, Minot, ND.

Lynda Rose DeCoteau was born on September 13, 1951 in Rolla, ND to William and Doris (Azure) Thomas.  She was raised in Rolla and completed her education there as well. She furthered her education obtaining a degree in accounting.  Lynda was united in marriage to Dale DeCoteau in 1995 in Rolla, ND. She was the proud mother of a son, Dustin. Lynda will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Lynda is survived by her husband, Dale DeCoteau of Rugby; sisters, Regina and Barbara.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Dustin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 20, 2026 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will follow services at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
