Luella  Davis, age 88, of St. John, ND passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Good Samaritan Society, Bottineau, ND.

Luella Bernice (Pederson) Davis was born on April 23, 1933 to Peder Hans and Louise (Austlund) Pederson on the family farm in Fairview Township.  She married Donald (Tex) Davis on June 15, 1952.  They made their home in rural St. John, ND.  Luella attended a country school in Fairview Township until 6 ^th grade, after that attended Dakota Lutheran School in Minot, ND for three years, and later finished her education in St. John, ND where she graduated.

Luella enjoyed family and friends stopping by anytime to visit her.  She also enjoyed going to bingo and the casino to pass the time when she wasn't watching Everybody Loves Raymond, Wheel of Fortune, and The Price is Right, to name a few of her favorites.

Luella is survived by her children, Donald (LuAnn) Davis of St. John, Susan (Kenneth) Peterson of Idaho Falls, ID, Betty (John) Hanson of St. John, Peggy (Jerry) Langan of St. John, Patty (Terry) Hudson of Edmond, OK, Jackie Davis of Gig Harbor, WA, David (Marilyn) Davis of St. John, and Brenda (Kurt Sr.) Carpenter of St. John; 20 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Luella was preceded in death by her husband, Donald (Tex) Davis, her parents, Peder and Louise Pederson, brothers, Herbert, Raymond, Palmer, Wilfred, Carl, and Peder, sisters, Gladys, Oviala, Marlene, and two infant sisters at birth, granddaughter, Jodi Davis, and grandson, Joshua and his wife Robin Langan.

Casket Bearers are her grandsons, Cory Davis, Luke Peterson, Jason Hanson, Jed Hanson, Jordan Langan, Kurt (Jr.) Carpenter, Eric Hudson, Evan Hudson, and in memory, Joshua Langan.  Honorary Bearers are all of her granddaughters, Kendra Peterson, Kelly Albertson, Jerri Lynn Langan, Erin Smith, Ellison Anderson, Jessica Marzano, Jennifer Olsen, Bethany Vandal, Amanda Jennings-Nickles, Saralynn Dobler, Krystne Davis, Mandy Artz, and in memory Jodi Davis.  Special Music by Jerri Lynn Langan and Keily Albertson.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Rolla, ND.  Pastor Nicholas Rohde and Pastor Randy Kimpland officiating. Burial will follow services at the St. John City Cemetery, St. John, ND.
