Lucinda LaRocque, age 70, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Quentin Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility, Belcourt, ND.

Lucinda Gail LaRocque was born on August 7, 1952 in Belcourt, ND to Ethel Laverne DeCoteau.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well, graduating from Belcourt High School in 1970.  She furthered her education at Wahpeton, ND obtaining an Associate Degree in Business.  Lucinda was the proud mother of two children, Kerri and William.  She worked for Tribal Nations Research Group as a business technician, retiring in 2012.  Lucinda enjoyed working on puzzles, reading and playing KEYA bingo.  She also liked being outdoors fishing with Ronnie.  Lucina loved time spent with her family members and friends.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Lucinda is survived by her children, Kerri (Robert) Martell of Belcourt and William (Cassondra) LaRocque of Grand Forks; six grandchildren, Kylene, Matthew, Myrakel, Jayme, William, and Taylee; two great grandchildren, Rylee and Greyson; sister, Judy (Donald) LaRocque; brother, Leslie (Betty) Wilkie; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and three brothers, Ed, Leo, and Jerry.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a visitation beginning at 11:30 AM and Rosary Service at Noon prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will take place in the spring.  A meal will follow funeral services at the KC Hall, Belcourt, ND.
