Lorrie Ann DeCoteau, age 62, of Belcourt, ND passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck, ND.

Lorrie Ann DeCoteau was born on January 22, 1963, to Clarence Delorme and Flora Davis-Redding. She was raised in Dunseith and completed her high school education there as well. She furthered her education at Duluth Technical College, obtaining an LPN nursing degree. Lorrie later married Ronnie Decoteau and together they raised three children. She was a very proud mother to Michelle, Ron, and Sarah. She was also a mother-like figure to her very special nephew John Decoteau. Lorrie worked at Quintin N Burdick Memorial Hospital in Belcourt for 30 + years, retiring in 2023. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing in the summer. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, going shopping and to rummage sales, and going to the casino. She loved time spent with her family members, especially her grandchildren where she was always known as "Nana". She was well known in the community and gave a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved all her patients and took great care of them while being their nurse. Lorrie will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family, friends, and coworkers.

Lorrie is survived by her children, Michelle DeCoteau of Dunseith, Ron (Samantha) DeCoteau of Hinkley, MN, and Sarah (John) Gunville of Dunseith; 10 grandchildren, Jalen, Hunter, Elyse, Bentley, Harper, Landon, Corey, Coral, Shaylynn, and Bryson; siblings, Albert (Michelle) Delorme of Belcourt, Ronnie (Debra) Delorme of North Platte, NE, Sharon Delorme of Saint Marys, PA, Wanda (Michael) Pond of Billings, MT, Alisa (Kehar) Delorme-Rabba of Las Vegas, NV, Marlys (Mitchell) Delorme of Seattle, WA, Carol Delorme of Minot, Carl Delorme of Bismarck, and Jeffery (Sherry) DeCoteau of Belcourt; and many nieces and nephews.

Lorrie was preceded in death by her special nephew, John DeCoteau, parents, Clarence Delorme & Flora Davis-Redding, stepfather, Roy Redding, brothers, Donzold, Eddie, and Darrell Delorme, and sister, Marilyn Wakeman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 16, 2026 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND. A meal will be held immediately following services in the church.
