Lisa Tetrault, age 54, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Lisa Mary Tetrault was born on May 21, 1968 in Belcourt, ND to Joseph and Theresa (LaFountain) Tetrault.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well.  Lisa lived with her life-long companion, Randy Poitra Sr. and she was the proud mother of three children, Preston, Shelby, and Daysin.  Lisa was a wonderful homemaker and mother to her family.  She loved her family dearly and the time that she spent with them.  She worked out of the home in her younger years at the Dunseith Nursing Home, Benchmarck in Dunseith, Noodle Plant and a diner in Cando, and her favorite and most loved job, caring for her family.  Lisa liked playing the slot machines at the casino and also playing Yahtzee, cards, and dice with family and friends.  She enjoyed watching television shows, especially Monk, Law and Order, and CSI.  Lisa will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her loving family and many friends.

Lisa is survived by her companion, Randy Poitra Sr. of Belcourt; children, Preston Tetrault, Shelby Tetrault, and Daysin Poitra, all of Belcourt; brother, Randy (Toni) Tetrault of Dunseith; and many nieces and nephews.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, son, Joseph Tetrault, brother, Gary Tetrault, and sister, Carla Jean Allery.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 11:30 AM at the Eagle Heart Cultural Center, Log Cabin, Dunseith, ND with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM.
