Lisa Laducer, age 58, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Lisa Marie Laducer was born on June 11, 1962 in Rolette, ND to Jack and Alma (Grant) Peterson.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well, graduating from Belcourt High School in 1980.  She furthered her education at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks obtaining a Bachelor Degree in 1989.  Lisa was united in marriage to Michael "Joker" Laducer in 1985 and together they raised two sons, Michael and Jorden.  She worked at the Belcourt High School in English for many years before retiring.  Lisa enjoyed traveling, shopping, reading, crocheting, and hanging out with her dogs.  She also liked riding motorcycle with Joker and visiting with family and friends.  Lisa was a lifelong teacher and enjoyed every moment, loving to teach each of her students.  She was very adventurous, notoriously inquisitive, and loved to cook, which she was very good at.  Lisa will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Lisa is survived by her sons, Michael (Jeremy) Laducer of Belcourt and Jorden (Christopher) Laducer of Minot; siblings, Cornelius (Rose) Grant of Bismarck, Bill Peterson of Belcourt, Carleen (C. Joe) Parisien of Belcourt, Lana (Mick) DeCoteau of Belcourt, and Toni (Kevin) Nelson of Bottineau; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Alma Peterson and husband, Michael "Joker" Laducer, sisters Donna Johnson, Mary Alice Peterson, Mary Jane Necaise, niece Nadine Parisien and nephew Jamie Grant.

A visitation will begin at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary/Eulogy at 9:00 AM and Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow the funeral mass at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
