Lisa Desjarlais, age 57, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Lisa Elaine (Lattergrass) Desjarlais was born on September 2, 1964 in Belcourt, ND to Ernest and Virginia (Charette) Lattergrass.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well.  Lisa was united in marriage to Willard Desjarlais on September 3, 1980 in Belcourt.  She was the proud mother of 11 children, Paul, Willard III, Corey, Todd, Daniel, Lee John, Joseph, Tabitha, Hillary, Isaiah, and Amber.  Lisa worked at the Sky Dancer Casino in Belcourt as a supervisor.  Lisa enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, movies, and her electronics, her phone and tablet.  She loved to spend time with her family members and friends and especially watching her grandchildren.  Lisa will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Willard Desjarlais of Belcourt; children, Paul Desjarlais of Bismarck, Willard III (Ashley) Desjarlais of Menoken, Corey Desjarlais of Belcourt, Todd Desjarlais of Belcourt, Daniel (Kathleen) Desjarlais of Belcourt, Joseph (Chelsea) Desjarlais of Belcourt, Tabitha Desjarlais of Belcourt, Hillary Desjarlais of Belcourt, Isaiah Desjarlais of Belcourt, and Amber Desjarlais of Belcourt; 24 grandchildren; siblings, Belinda Grant, Ernest Lattergrass Jr., Brenda Halmrast, Mary Laducer, Ella Charette, and Sheila Rogers; and many nieces and nephews.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, son, Lee John Desjarlais, grandsons, Gaberial Desjarlais and Jaxxsyn Desjarlais.

Casket Bearers are Liam Desjarlais, Owen, Evan, Kobe, and Blaine Clearwater, and James Smith.  Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 10 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
