Linus LaVallie Jr., age 56, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Monday October 17, 2022 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

Linus was born on March 2, 1966 in Belcourt, ND to Linus Lavallie Sr. and Mary Ann Short. He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well. Linus enjoyed working on cars, walking his dog, family events, helping family and friends with chores, demolition derbies, time with his nieces and nephews, listening to music, and loved watching deal or no deal and family feud. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Linus is survived by his father, Linus LaVallie Sr.; siblings, Alice Scott, Cynthia LaVallie, Faye Scott, Jodi Silveria, LeeAnn Houle, Sandy Peltier, Loretta Belgarde, Joe LaVallie, and George LaVallie; and many nieces and nephews.

Linus is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Short, and siblings, Tammy Davis and Alfred LaVallie.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
