Linus LaFountain, age 50, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at his home.

Linus Gerald LaFountain was born on March 3, 1972 in Belcourt, ND to Gerald and Judy (Enno) LaFountain.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well.  Linus was the proud father of two daughters, Brooke and Ashley and a son, Clark.  He enjoyed playing pool, basketball, and the outdoors fishing and playing golf.  Linus also liked watching races on television and working on diamond willow crafts.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family members and many friends.

Linus is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Dustin) DeCoteau; son, Clark Davis; two grandchildren, Olivia and Dillon; sister, Jerelyn LaFountain of Belcourt; and brother, Sam LaFountain of Belcourt.

Linus was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Judy LaFountain and daughter, Brooke Davis.

Casket Bearers are Mitchell Davis, Dante Davis, Kelly Wilkie, Eric LaFountain, Levi LaFountain, and Aaron Henry.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a visitation beginning at Noon and Rosary Service at 1:00 PM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will be in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND in the spring.
